Course Details
The Bachelor of Media and Communication requires 3 years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills to be able to research, write, design and produce communication content for a range of media platforms with the ability to adapt written style for different audiences and purposes. This degree provides knowledge of media and communication workplaces and their contexts and the impact of globalisation on communication.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: Students complete core topics in visual communication, marketing principles, writing for digital environments, convergence cultures and multimedia. Students can also select topics from consumer behaviour, marketing communications, ethics and Australian/Indigenous media. In the final year students complete a placement.
