Course Details

Maths and computer science is a powerful combination. In an increasingly technological age, pairings like these are only becoming more valuable for a wide variety of careers. Our Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences is a flexible degree. Program advisers are available to work with you to develop a study program tailored to your interests and career goals. You will: learn from world-class researchers and teachers in state-of-the-art facilities, build fundamental statistical and mathematical knowledge, explore complex computer systems and theories, hone your creativity, rigour, logical thinking, professionalism and research skills, pursue diverse electives from business classes to social science programs.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: Students take courses to the value of 72 units, of which at least 36 units must be mathematical and/or computer sciences courses with at least 12 units of Level III courses. The remaining courses can be taken from computer science, mathematics or statistics and/or from selected courses available in a wide range of other disciplines across the University.
