Course Details

Our Bachelor of Languages is interactive and immersive. Whether youve studied a language to Year 12 level (or equivalent) or are just setting out on your language journey, we offer different streams to cater to your level of knowledge. You will: develop proficiency in one or more languages, enhance your knowledge of the cultures they originate from, heighten your awareness of language systems, understand languages role in society, build a greater appreciation of cultural diversity.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

The Bachelor of Languages can also be combined with most other degrees offered by the University of Adelaide. Students will need to apply for each program separately through SATAC, applying for one degree in first year and the other degree in a subsequent year (or mid-year when available). Students can complete both degrees in a total of 4 years of full-time study or part-time equivalent by selecting appropriate courses from the first year of study. If students are considering any concurrent combinations, they are strongly encouraged to contact the Faculty Office for more detailed information before lodging their SATAC application.
