Course Details
An honours degree is a one-year program that builds upon undergraduate study by introducing the challenge of an extended research project. There are many reasons we encourage graduates to apply for an honours year. You might want to build a necessary foundation for postgraduate research. You could be seeking answers to international development questions no one else has asked. Perhaps youre pursuing advanced communication skills and subject knowledge to gain a competitive edge in the job market. Entry into honours is selective and competitive. Our prerequisite is at least a distinction average in the Bachelor of International Development or your major in International Development. Applications are called for by departments/disciplines in October and November each year.
