Course Details

Gain expertise and knowledge to understand the capabilities and implications of information technology (IT), business processes, data and people to deliver effective solutions and innovate the work of individuals and organisations. Develop data and process models to guide the design of a system; test and implement enterprise-wide systems; develop large database applications for the purpose of improving business operations; analyse data in a multitude of ways to improve business insights; and develop new digital transformation initiatives. Understand how an effective blend of information technology skills and business knowledge shape industries of the future in this ACS (Australian Computer Society) accredited course with international recognition.  Get career-ready for roles such as business analyst, process analyst, information systems consultant, chief technology officer, chief information officer, manager, executive or entrepreneur.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 72 credit points (6 units) of information technology core units, which includes unit from an approved options list; 120 credit points (10 units) of Information Systems discipline units; 96 credit points of complementary studies comprising of either a second major (8 unit set); or two minors (4 unit set each); or one minor (4 unit set) plus 4 elective units.
