Bachelor of Information Technology (Business Information Systems)


Course Details

This program examines organisational and technological issues required to analyse and design business information systems. Throughout the program, you will develop an understanding of organisational settings, recognising technology threats and opportunities, utilising modern principles and theories with practical applications. Subjects such as information security, multimedia, knowledge management, databases and emerging technologies in business will help you become familiar with the latest developments in IT, as well as different types of tools and their applications. Electives will compliment your IT degree, allowing you to build your business acumen with subjects including the theory and practice of managing people to build knowledge and understanding of workplace behaviour.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: This program consists of 360 credit points. Students will complete 16 core courses, 4 specialised elective courses, 4 general elective courses and a zero credit point IT Professional Engagement course.
