Bachelor of Information Systems


Course Details

Information Systems graduates are highly sought after and this qualification is well regarded for its focus on information systems design and management, and strong industry links. It prepares students for careers in information and communications technology (ICT), and provides them with the essential skills and knowledge for developing and implementing information technology solutions for businesses. The degree is developed in consultation with industry and is accredited by the Australian Computing Society (ACS) at the Professional Level.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 24 courses (144 UOC): Information Systems and Business core courses; Level 2/3 Information System electives; Free electives; General Education courses (chosen from other faculties).

The UNSW HSC Plus applies to the Bachelor of Information Systems. Alternate entry is also available for students who do not meet the ATAR under the Bachelor of Information Systems Admissions Scheme (BISAS) - pathway for domestic students only.
