Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours)


Course Details

The Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours) covers key areas of machine design; energy conversion and thermodynamics; fluid mechanics; control engineering; mechanical vibration; manufacturing engineering; and robotics. You will obtain a broad range of engineering skills in analysis and design, and complete a Capstone Honours research project over two semesters. This course provides you with real experience in your chosen profession, through our Co-operative Model.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: This course consists of 480 credit points. Students will complete 30 core courses, and a zero credit point Engineering Professional Practice course.

Students must obtain at least twelve weeks of suitable practical experience before being eligible to graduate. This experience should exposes the student to professional engineers and engineering technologists carrying out their typical duties. Further information: study.federation.edu.au
