The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil)/Bachelor of Computer Science course provides students with a focus on the application of advanced computing techniques on the civil engineering infrastructures. It combines civil and software engineering in the modelling, analysis, design, development and monitoring systems used in the construction industries. Graduates of this course will have extensive skills in integrating engineering with software development, particularly relating to multi-disciplinary projects, and will have developed experience in working on team projects. They will also have well-developed oral, written and graphical; communication skills.

Course structure: For the completion of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) / Computer Science, students are required to complete a total of 40 units (500 credit points) consisting of 14 Core Units of Study (175 credit points); 18 units of study from Civil Major (225 credit points); 8 units of study from Computer Science Major (100 credit points) and 1 compulsory, not-for-credit units (0 credit points).
