Practical experience: A minimum of 800 hours of clinical and practical experience is undertaken throughout the course. Workplace experience commences at the end of semester one in the first year. Placements are organised in acute hospital environments, mental health and community health facilities, primary care and regional and rural settings. Students will also learn in clinical simulation laboratories.
