Course Details

Economic issues are inherent in our everyday lives. Economics affects us as consumers, employees, producers, investors, manufacturers, carers and much more. As members of society, we all need to be able to make informed decisions about the optimal allocation of our limited resources. The Bachelor of Economics will provide you with a sound understanding of todays complex economic environment and the skills to design economic systems that promote welfare, fairness and sustainability. Youll learn about how modern economies operate, trade and grow; the role of prices and markets in allocating scarce resources; and the sorts of policy interventions that can be introduced when economic outcomes are less than optimal.
