Course Details
The Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education requires 4 years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course is offered by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: The degree has a multi-disciplinary focus, with contributions from psychology, philosophy, speech pathology, sociology, health, rehabilitation, leisure and special education. Theory and practice are closely integrated throughout the course enabling graduates to be effective practitioners in the field. Consequently, students are required to successfully complete a minimum of four supervised practicum placements throughout the degree.
