Bachelor of Design (Honours)


Course Details

The Bachelor of Design degree program offers an integrated education linking key specialisations of design such as graphics, communication, objects, experience and spatial design, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, media and technology. Our design students work in collaborative environment building experience in established, new and emerging technologies, and developing knowledge, skills and capacities for design thinking, systems thinking, social innovation and entrepreneurship.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: The degree of Bachelor of Design (Honours) is awarded as an Honours degree at the completion of four years full-time study, which includes a research and internship component. The program consists of a design core that provides a depth of engagement with design studies and an Elective and General Education component that provides breadth of experience.
