Computer Scientists work on challenging, complex problems. They develop the foundation for new software technologies, both theoretical and practical. Computer science is fundamental to the newest trends in computing, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, cybersecurity advancements and the development of immersive virtual and augmented reality experiences. These technologies are part of everyday life. Course structure: The Bachelor of Computer Science is a three year program, students are required to complete 240 units comprised of the following: - 160 units of Core courses - 80 unit major chosen from one of the three majors (20 units of Core courses also count towards the major for a total of 80 units): Software Development ; Artificial Intelligence; Cyber Security - 20 units of Elective
