Course Details

This course is designed for aspiring professionals in digital and social media communication. Youll become a skilled practitioner in the dynamic field of digital media, equipped with technological literacy, cultural sensitivity, and innovative problem-solving abilities. What sets this course apart is its integration of professional communication with language and cultural studies, including the opportunity for international study. Youll gain a deep understanding of social medias role in society and develop practical skills in social media management, UX/UI design, and data visualisation.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: Students must complete 240 credit points consisting of 24 credit points of core subjects, a 48-credit-point major and potential 48-credit-point second major (subject to application), 24 credit points of cross-disciplinary electives and a 96-credit-point country major choice. Students who do not meet the requirements to study the second major complete 48 credit points of electives. Students spend their fourth year of study at a university overseas. Students take part in practical and applied projects throughout the course and can elect to undertake a professional placement in industry.

Career options include digital and social media coordinator, digital consultant and producer, communications officer, digital channels strategist and social media manager.
