Course Details

A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) covers fundamental knowledge and skills in the key areas of accounting, finance, economics, quantitative analysis, information systems, and business and taxation law. A commerce degree provides a global perspective and work-oriented educational experience, establishing best practice for a long-term professional career.This degree is endorsed by Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia. It’s designed to meet the global demand for high-quality commerce graduates, providing you with the opportunity to specialise in accounting and/or finance. The course includes an industry placement as well as an opportunity to undertake a global learning experience with a partner institution. The Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) consists of 24 subjects: 17 core subjects and 7 elective subjects to specialise in Accounting, Finance or both. Industry is embedded in our curriculum. You will get hands-on experience with industry-leading software used in the industry, including Xero, and you'll have the opportunity to become Xero-certified.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Commerce(Accounting) consists of 24 subjects: 10 core subjects and 14 elective subjects. The elective subjects you choose will depend on whether you want to specialise in Accounting, Finance or oth.
