Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Mathematics

Course Details

This combined degree program provides students with an opportunity to undertake concurrent study in civil engineering and mathematics and complete two awards. In general, a combined degree program offers greater breadth of learning, enhancing the academic and professional qualities gained in each separate degree. At the same time, it recognises the increasing need for students to graduate with multidisciplinary skills. Civil Engineers are responsible for the physical structures that we take for granted every day - roads, bridges, airports, mines, pipelines, harbours and dockyards are all planned and designed by civil engineers. Our graduates have a solid understanding of the scientific fundamentals that underpin civil engineering and engineering practice, and well-developed hands-on skills in the design of infrastructure projects.
