Course Details

The Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Business combined degree program provides students with an opportunity to undertake concurrent study and complete two awards. In general, the combined degree program offers greater breadth of learning, enhancing the academic and professional qualities gained in each degree. At the same time, it recognises the increasing need for students to graduate with multidisciplinary skills.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Business is a 5 year program comprising 410 units, of which 340 units are core courses and 70 units are compulsory or directed courses for the business major. Students will have the opportunity to undertake an industry related project in their final year and must also complete 12 weeks of industrial experience throughout the program. A graded honours classification in engineering is awarded on the basis of superior performance throughout the program. The Bachelor of Business component of this combined program may be awarded with Distinction on the basis of superior performance throughout the program.

It may not always be possible to complete this combined Engineering degree within 5 years. This combined Engineering degree is not available for midyear admission by International Students.
