Course Details

A Bachelor of Business Information Systems combines data, technology and people skills. Build the expertise to interpret information to solve workplace problems. Be the bridge between business decision-makers and information technology specialists. At Torrens University, you’ll gain practical experience in real-world settings. Translate technical knowledge into actionable business insights. This degree focuses on the introduction and development of skills to prepare you for a career as an information systems professional. You will learn critical academic skills, as well as knowledge and applications of a variety of information systems and how they impact businesses. As well as the 16 core subjects, the Bachelor of Business Information Systems includes eight elective subjects so you can tailor your degree to suit your career goals. This course is a candidate for accreditation with the ACBSP.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: This course comprises of 24 subjects, which includes 16 core subjects and 8 elective subjects. Each subject involves 10 hours of study per week, comprising 3 hours of facilitated study and 7 hours self-directed study.
