Course Details

This combined degree opens up a wide range of creative and business careers. You will graduate not only with advanced technical and creative skills, but also with highly developed business knowledge. If you are interested in a career that extends your performing arts knowledge into arts marketing and management, advertsing and public relations or in stage management this course is for you. Previous graduates have had a dynamic impact on the development of the Australian creative industries sector, and our most recent graduates are at the heart of the exciting growth in the independent theatre sector in Australia.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: In order to complete this course, you must complete a total of 384 credit points, made up of 192 credit points from the Bachelor of Business and 192 credit points from the Bachelor of Fine Arts. You will undertake the two components of the double degree concurrently.

Individual faculties also offer support through prizes, awards and bursaries that reward and encourage student effort through the generous support of individuals, industry and government sponsors. Our offer guarantee can give you peace of mind about your study choices. If you receive an ATAR or selection rank equal to or higher than the offer guarantee, you are guaranteed a place in the course regardless of the threshold. This means that when you know your ATAR or selection rank you can check your eligibility for a QUT course before receiving an offer. You still need to lodge a QTAC application by the closing date. A small number of courses do not participate in the offer guarantee scheme.
